Veteran Fridrik Thór Fridriksson’s latest film Mamma Gógó opens today. This is a serio-comic look at a film director’s struggle with his career as he has to deal with his mother’s Alzheimer condition. Film stars two of Iceland’s best known thesps, Kristbjörg Kjeld (Cold Light) and Hilmir Snær Gudnason (White Night Wedding). Fridriksson writes and produces the film with Spellbound’s Gudrún Edda Thórhannesdóttir.
