Valdís Óskarsdóttir’s second film, King’s Road (Kóngavegur), opens today in Iceland. The writer/director spoke to Iceland Cinema Now about the possible allegorical nature of the film, the fun of ensemble pieces and the close relationship she enjoys with the cast. The interview was conducted in downtown Reykjavík in late March.
