Shooting Frost in rough conditions at Langjökull glacier last week.
The Icelandic Film Company is now shooting thriller Frost on Langjökull glacier in the Icelandic highlands. Directed by Reynir Lyngdal (Our Own Oslo) from a script by Jón Atli Jónasson (Brim, the upcoming The Deep), film is described as a sci-fi horror on ice and depicts a scientist who travels up to a glacier along with her filmmaking husband and together they find something sinister.
Filming will wrap in late January, premiere is expected in the fall. Júlíus Kemp and Ingvar Thórdarson produce.
