		<description><![CDATA[It's the little film that could: <a href="http://www.legendsofvalhalla.com/#"><strong>Legends of Valhalla: Thor</strong></a>, the 3D animation film from Iceland's <em>Caoz Studios</em> took the number 4 spot at the South Korean Box Office this weekend, grossing an excellent $1.6m on 382 screens. One of the largest film markets in the world and one of the few markets were local fare regularly trumps Hollywood product, this must count as a very respectable international bow for the $12m production, the most expensive Icelandic film ever made.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[Blacks's Game, the debut feature of Óskar Thor Axelsson, had its international premiere at the Rotterdam Film Festival yesterday, where it's competing for the Tiger Award. Judging by the buzz on the film's Rotterdam fest page it seems it has gone down very well indeed. Furthermore it's currently rated a whopping 4.45 out of 5, making it the number 6 film of the festival. Film opens March 2nd in Iceland and has already been sold to the UK and Switzerland.]]></description>
